303rd Infantry Regiment
« on: September 26, 2015, 04:21:11 am »
Hello! You've passed BMT(Basic Military Training) on Kamino!
You are offically invited to join the 303rd Infantry, we are mainly light infantry and airborne. All of our soldiers are trained mentally and physically for the horror of war, within the 303rd is a tight-knit brotherhood that one must earn colors to prove himself to his soon-to-be brethren.                                            So, you may be asking yourself.. How do I join?         All you must do is fill out a few papers, some RP(I hope you don't mind, but when there is not enough soldiers for a full-scale operation we will be RP'ing.), ontop of the papers you will be inducted into a small training program which is known as Light Infantry/Airborne School(LI/AS).
You're thinking to yourself.. "What happens next?"
Well, you're golden! You'll be assigned to a Platoon and Squad, soon seeing combat! But it is no easy task, your CO(Commanding Officer), XO(Executive Officer) and NCOs(Non-Commissioned Officers).
The Rank System
So, from lowest to highest: Private(PVT), Private First Class(PFC), Specialist(SPC), Corporal(CPL), Sergeant(SGT), Staff Sergeant(SSG), Sergeant First Class(SFC), Master Sergeant(MSG), First Sergeant(1SG), Sergeant Major(SGM), Command Sergeant Major(CSM), Second Lieutenant(2LT), First Lieutenant(1LT),Captain(CPT), Commander(CDR)
The Backstory/Lore
The 303rd was a fairly small Regiment, only consisting of thirty-five hundred(3,500) soldiers, sometimes known as "Rangers" by the normal Infantry. The Regiment had been deployed to several battles such as, Muunilinst, Geonosis, Kashyyyk, Hoth and quite more, they are SOC(Special Operations Capable), often filling in for ARCs, ARFs and Commandos when numbers were too thin to deploy such elite units. No one within 303rd feels like they're SOC, to themselves they are just a bunch of infantry trying to survive a war. Sometimes even getting words from civillians, the most often being "Why do you do it? You some kind of war-junkie?".. the 303rd don't respond, the civillians wouldnt know, and they'd probably never know since this war, it was theirs, the entire reason they existed..no one dared question what would happen after it ended. The 303rd was one of the longest units it took to train, including training from Mandalorians, ARCs and even Commandos they had met in the field or on space vessels, sometimes even starting friendly rivalries or competitions with the other SOCs and SOGs(Special Operation Groups), but everyone knew, they were all equal when it came to the battles, they would watch the other one's back, and the other would do just the same.   I believe that concludes this, please do rate it as this is my very first post on this forum! Thank you for reading, have a nice day and I hope to see you on the field Trooper! -Clone Commander Olybrius of the 303rd Infantry.

Interesting rank structure for a clone regiment, regardless, best of luck.
