NA Community trainings
« on: May 17, 2017, 10:05:13 am »
Hello everyone,

As community manager I want to help the community best I can, I came up with the idea of hosting Community trainings, in which new clans can get a nice training of how the mod works instead of being thrown in against the best of the NA community without training. It might also be a nice way of getting the community closer to each other. A time and date will be settled upon on a later date and before we settle on a date I want to get together a team of volunteers to help train the new regiments. Ofcourse this training will require the full support of all the new clans. As an addition to these trainings I will also make a set of tutorial videos for those that are interested in it.

Requirements for becoming a trainer:
- Able to speak basic english
- A microphone
- At least 4 months of experience in the mod

EDIT: Roster of trainers so far:
- Akreal
- Eye4567

we used to have 501st EU training but that went for some reason (we got too good). but now I think it would be good for both EU and NA to have OPTIONAL training that's fun, none of this one at a time stuff, but people in a situation and explained the mechanics.

There really is not much need for our trainings anymore. Pretty much everyone has been here a good while. The occasional new recruit is quickly taught the ropes so there's no need for mass training.

501st Trainings might be good for new patches so everybody can get on board with the changes. We only have a slight advantage by knowing exactly what was changed and how.

But things like coordination is something we could train in special environments.
